Heart
Jai Ma
Heart, they say, is a muscle. It can't ever be broken. But muscles can tear - slowly, silently, completely. A torn heart doesn't stop beating. It just stops feeling. When we meet and talk to people, we realise so many people in the world have torn and tattered hearts. By life's own challenges, by the ways of the world, and mostly, by our own inner weaknesses, we all have torn hearts. Sometimes we wonder if there was a way to mend them. We wonder if there was a way we could cushion them up and help them feel at least the pain they are going through. But over time, i have realised that torn hearts can't be stitched back together using words of wisdom or thoughts of inspiration. No, torn hearts just can't be stitched back together. But, if we can hold the pieces of that tattered heart in one warm embrace of love, the impossible happens! In the warmth of that embrace, those pieces very quietly get glued back together and make the person smile.
Often we are so busy correcting, criticising and resurrecting the person's intelligence, we fail to offer that one warm embrace of love. Such embraces are rare. I am not talking about a simple hug or a word of care or even a gesture of love. I am talking about complete and unconditional acceptance and support and love. In the world we live in, such love is rare. I have found it to be one of those things most people spend a lifetime without ever receiving. Most of us have by now taught ourselves to live with torn hearts. Many of us do not even know or believe that such a warm embrace of love even exists for real. But it does. Within you and within me, that love silently waits to bless the world around us. The strength to offer such Love IN SPITE OF everything that the other person is or does, is the real Shakti within us. Invoke that Shakti within.
